The owner of Newcastle United Football Club shocked onlookers and players when he bet £480,000 total on a series of bets at Roulette that were around his lucky number 17. Mr. Ashley won a lot of cash while he was laying a complicated bet called complete.

With this betting combination he placed money on every number including 17 and lady luck was smiling on him as the roulette ball fell on it. He won the money while playing at the Fifty London Casino in Mayfair.

According to another player that was in the casino at the time when Ashley won at Roulette he told the croupier “thanks for the help and finishing my play”. Having said that he collected his amount and walked out of the club.
