Delaware Casinos Add Automated Roulette Tables
More and more land casinos are discovering the benefits of adding automated table games to their casino floors. The new automated machines provide players with the same playing experience as a regular table game would but without the presence of a dealer. The Delaware Lottery has now decided to add Alfastreet Roulette, an automated multi-player table game to their casinos. Currently every casino in Delaware will have the automated tables and by the end of this year Dover Downs casino and Harrington Casino will have two tables each while Delaware Park Casino will have three.
The Alfastreet Roulette automated table uses an American style roulette wheel with thirty eight spots. The R8 model has eight betting stations and all players bet together on the center wheel. Players can make a wager by touching the touch screen, touch pad or both.
The game table lets the players know when to place a bet, how close they are to bet deadline and if they have or have not met the minimum bet. When betting has closed the ball spins and bounces to the center wheel until it has randomly settled on a spot. The game then pays the winning bets.
Wayne Lemons, the Delaware Lottery Director commented: "The Alfastreet product is known for excellence and ease of play, and we expect the games to add a new level of excitement and curiosity to the gaming floors.”
