Panaji Police Constables and Casino Employees Arrested for Cheating at Roulette
The Panaji police recently arrested two police constables and three employees of an offshore casino for cheating in the game of roulette. The people arrested are accused of taking Rs. 1.33 lakh from the casino operator.

The two policemen were working with the casino staff to purchase chips and then play roulette. The policemen would place their bets once the roulette wheel is in motion, which is not allowed. The illegal move would then be pointed out by the roulette operator and then the operator would pretend to remove the chips. The operator would then leave the chips placed on the highest denominators possible so the policemen would win.

The policemen would continue to play and when the night was over the winnings would be split between the officers and the workers. However the casino soon caught on and a complaint was sent to the police by the owner of the casino and this past Saturday the cheaters were arrested.
