A research project was recently completed by gamingsupermarket and they found that an increase of women in the United Kingdom is playing roulette instead of the usual game of bingo. The game of roulette has already been found as the game of choice for women in the USA and now this study has proven the same in the UK.

Roulette is very entertaining and is viewed as a glamorous casino game. This has been true in land casinos and now seems to be true as well for online casinos. Bingo has always been a popular game in the UK and players have flocked to land based establishments as well as online bingo rooms.

Bingo has long been the game of choice especially for women but now it seems times are changing. The research clearly shows that women are choosing roulette as their game of choice for online play as well as land play.

The editor of live roulette, David Merry, shared his thoughts on the research findings by stating: "We all knew the bingo boom would not last forever, and although I think it is far from over I think the cracks are starting to show. Roulette provides women with the chance to win serious cash, very quickly, so it is easy to see why they would be attracted."
