Roulette and other games on the way to Pennsylvania
On Thursday Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell signed a bill that made table games legal in the state. So now roulette fans as well as blackjack, craps and poker players, will be able to enjoy their favorite games in casinos around the state.

Up to 250 tables can be added to each casino but the Hollywood Casino in Grantville will be adding far less games. That is, at least for right now. Fred Lipkin a spokesman for the casino commented that they are looking to add forty to fifty games to start. A mix of roulette, blackjack and craps will be added as well as a poker room.

It will also take about six to nine months to get everything set up so players will have to wait awhile before they can begin to play the new table games. The casino will have to hire three to four hundred people as well for the table games.

Lipkin stated: “You need dealers, obviously for blackjack. You need stick people, pit people at craps games. You need somebody to spin the wheel at roulette and of course you need supervisors and managers throughout the building.”
