Workers at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut were betting that the ladies at their table couldn't understand Spanish, or the rude remarks they were making about them. Unfortunately, that was a major loss on their part because Michelle Marigliano not only has a master's degree in bi-lingual education but is in fact half Italian and half Cuban.

Marigliano was accompanied with 8 of her girlfriends for a weekend at Foxwoods casino only to be disrespected and insulted by two Hispanic employees. The ladies claim that the two employees that were working the Roulette table they had chosen to gamble at were making disgusting comments about them in Spanish, obviously thinking that none of the ladies could or would understand them.

Unfortunate for those two workers, these ladies were not as they assumed them to be. Michelle understood everything that those two men were saying and claims that the workers said, "Look at these dumb broads, they're not going to tip us well."

"I'm half Cuban and half Italian, and I have a master's in bi-lingual education. So I'm pretty well spoken, and I understand the language fluently", said Michelle Marigliano. "It just got more vulgar as the night went on, it was really horrific!"

The ladies said that the comments continued to get worse as the night went on. Michelle said that one man said that one of her blonde friends thinks that her boobs are going to get her places. They were also making comments about one of the ladies who was at the table and her sexual orientation. Going as far as to call her a lesbian in Spanish.

The women decided that they were going to have a word with the casino managers who said that one of the workers was fired and gave the group of ladies a free breakfast, free drinks and two free rooms for one night. However the women do not feel that these material things do not make up for the emotional abuse they suffered. They are each suing the casino for a half a million dollars.

Last word was that Foxwoods officials will not comment at this time. However, in legal papers the casino says that it is owned by the Mashanucket Pequot Tribe and is therefore it is immune to lawsuits in state courts and that any legal action needs to be filed in the tribal court.
